TC is going back in time!

Last night after updating the forum I restored the database from a backup I created two hours earlier. It turns out that this backup, created by the standard phpBB backup feature, as well as the other three backups I have saved, are all missing the topic and user list tables, as well as other less important information. This means that while the text of your posts remains saved, it is impossible to access any of it. I was able to obtain a database backup from Bluehost that is from December 30th. This is the best I could do... For a while I thought we had lost everything, and I'm pretty relieved that it didn't turn out worse than this.

Since I still have the data from the recent posts I will be taking limited requests for retrieval. You have to tell me the exact subject name and the post must be over 100 words. I will accept a maximum of three requests per users until Friday.

What happened last time when the forums died? Or was that when my webhosting which hosted tc suddenly dropped?

Well...this is highly inconvenient, but not totally inconvenient. What sucks is that I lost quite a few posts that I valued (mainly for Role Play things, and something in the Writing Forum)...and it's a bit more than 3 post,s so I'm searching that God-forsaken length of text for those posts...also, most of the posts in there repeat 3 or 4 times after you see them...what's up with that?

Sandbag and the Dog are ready to fight! Sandbag flies through the air and smacks Dog. Dog howls in pain, but bites back! But sandbag counters the attack and smashes dog up, so they both fly up! When they land, the Sandbag lands on Dog with a loud \"POW\"! And then, Sandbag has a violent muscle spazum on top of Dog! The Dog excapes quickly so as not to get to much damage. The Sandbag recovers and stands back up. Sandbag flies at Dog at mach speed to a boneshattering collision! The Dog recovers by laughing off the pain. Sandbag induces Dog with anti-laughing gas, so when he slam tackles him, he can\'t laugh it off. He is seriously hurt of not being able to laugh at the anonymos person playing Duck Hunt. Then the ducks fly in and give him refreshing water... Which doesn\'t really do anything, as they were shot down. The Dog attempts to retrieve them with his last few breathes But he doesn\'t make it in time and dies. Sandbag wins! *Sandbag flops over, limp* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [b:39a95e86fc][i:39a95e86fc][size=24:39a95e86fc]Sandbag vs Jigglypuff: The Return of Sandbag![/size:39a95e86fc][/i:39a95e86fc][/b:39a95e86fc] Now, Sandbag and Jigglypuff are ready to fight; the stage is Pokemon Stadium. They are both at a stare off, but then the Poke\'screen shows the grass symbol, and the ground starts to shake... The Stadium changes to the Grass Field! Sandbag flops over, while Jigglypuff dashes at him. Sandbag stares blankly, causing Jigglypuff to loses it\'s focus, and dash right into Sandbag, tripping over flat onto it\'s face! The Poke\'sceen shows water, and the ground starts shaking again...The field changes, the and with Jigglypuff on the ground, the shake knocks Jigglypuff into the air! Jigglypuff is flieing through the air, and starts to come back down, but lands on the waterfield windmill, with a smashing impact, and falls down on it\'s back. Sandbag flops over on Jigglypuff, doing damage! Slowly, Sanbag\'s heavy weight start deflating the puffed up Jigglypuff, but Jiggypuff seems to have to doze off... Suddenly, the Sandbag was knocked far back! Sandbag is flieing to the left, but the windmill(going clockwise) smacks him! Now sailing downward, he collides with Jigglypuff! Jigglypuff gets a rude awakening and flops across the stage, which suddenly changes, again. A giant mountain bangs Sandbag into the air, who lands a hard impart, shattering a rock and shooting shraptnel everywhere! Many of the shraptnel hit Jigglypuff, leavin him bruised and bumpy. But Jigglypuff suddenly catchs the sharpest rock, than jumps toward Sandbang attempting to slice him open with the rock! Sand starts rushing out of Sandbag... Is this the end for Sandbag?! But wait! The cut was at the very top of him! The sand covers Jigglypuff, then stops! Is this the end for Jigglypuff?! The rock Stage transforms into the standard stage, with Jigglypuff still under the sand. Suddenly, bursts out of the sand to reveal a red, angrily, puffed-up pokemon with a microphone in hand! The crowd gasps and Sandbag drooped as Jigglypuff took a deep breath... Jigglypuff let out a bellowing wail that blows Sandbag right off of the platform! Is this the end?! Suddenly, a Pidgeot flew from out of the sky, grabbed Sandbag, and dropped him back on the stage! The crowd goes wild, but Jigglypuff wasn\'t looking too happy! Sandbag flops limb, but Jigglypuff, angry as ever, starts to rapidly spin... Jigglypuff dashes at Sandbag, however, Sandbag still had that hole in the top of him, and sand had begun leaking out of it, inot a pile. The pile became somewhat of a ramp, which Jigglypuff zoomed off of! Jigglypuff is flieing off into the distance! He whizzes past Pigeot, roasting him into a chicken filet, smashes right through the pokescreen, and collides with a firework! The audiance OOOOOs and AAAAAs! This games winner is Sandbag! Mr. Game N\' Watch stands on one side ringing a strange bell, while Sandbag is limp on the other end. Sand Bag!!! *clap clap clap* Sand Bag!!! *clap clap clap* Sand Bag!!! *clap clap clap* Noone is moving, and it seems they are at a stand off, but suddenly, a pink capsule falls to Mr. Game N\' Watch\'s feet... Game N\' Watch picks up the pink capsule and tosses it at Sandbag. The capsule hits him and explodes! Sandbag is knocked back a little, but the explosion shot a few items. A tiny bit of food lands right on top of Sandbag, and he recovers! But on the other side, a beam sword flew out of the capsule and Game N\' Watch caught it! Game N\' Watch ran at Sandbag and slashed the Beam Sword at Sandbag! Sandbag flinches backwards while curling around his stomach a little! Game N\' Watch then throws the sword at Sandbag and knocks him backwards, but a door opens in a house to the side, and a little man comes out holding above him some sort of can... Suddenly, the man trips over the Beam Sword and spills the can\'s contents everwhere. It\'s oil! Sandbag slides right into Game N\' Watch and sends him flieing, and he smacks against the roof of the house! Game N\' Watch picks up a piece if Hailstone from the roof and throws it at Sandbag and falls down! It narrowly cuts Sandbag from the side just enough to knock him into a spinning nosedive into the ground! Game N\' Watch gets up, and jumps, ready to downward strike Sandbag, but suddenly, the platforms start shifting, and a platform comes up right above Sandbag! As Game N\' Watch was dropping down, he falls ferociously and smacks hard against the platform and rolls in pain! With Game N\' Watch still in pain, he valiantally gets up, but dizzilly stumbles for a few moments before the platform shifts away, causing him to fall right on top of Sandbag! Game N\' Watch begins to hit Sandbag with his bell twice as Sandbag rolls out of Game N\' Watch\'s grip, then suddenly as Game N\' Watch looks up, Sangbag rolls right under him and knocks him over, Causing Game N\' Watch in more fury and pain! With Sandbag lifelessly rolling the other way, Game N\' Watch grows even more angry that he is losing to something that can\'t move! He starts to chase after the rolling Sandbag, but tools start to fall from the sky... Game N\' Watch still chases him and gets hit, but he\'s still coming for him! A wrench hits Sandbag and he bounces in recoil just a tiny bit, and Game N\' Watch trips over him and lands face first, only to be hit in the back by a falling hammer! Suddenly, a Parasol appears, and Game N\' uses it for cover. After sheilding himself from the falling objects, he gives Sandbag a good whack! Sandbag flies into a barrel and smashes it, which shoots something small and shiny, which lands and makes a green light. Game N\' Watch doesn\'t notice it, and starts dashing at Sandbag... BOOM! Mr. Game & Watch goes flying! When he lands, he\'s battered and beaten. He\'s down, but not out. He gets up! Mr. Game N\' Watch gets up bright red, and starts to walk slowly towards the helpless Sandbag, but something red with an \'\'M\'\' on it falls toward Sandbag... Game N\' Watch quickly makes a grab for the Maxim Tomato, but it lands on Sandbag, and splatters all over him and heals him! Game N\' Watch slips on the and smacks against the house! He was now as red as the tomato he slipped on! Hews so angry he was going to deal Sandbag... THE JUDGEMENT! Game N\' Watch pulls out a sign and its has the number...8! Game N\' Watch swings his hammer agaisnt Sandbag, and Sandbag recieves tremendous shock and flipped over on it\'s side! He hits the ground so hard, the electricity sends a shock wave across the ground and knocks over Game N\' Watch! Then the wind picks up, and Sandbag rolls over him hard! But it didn\'t matter, because Game N\' Watch was flat to begin with, so Sandbag harmlessly rolled over him... Sandbag keeps going and rolls toward the fire house to the left, right when someone is jumping into the trampoline! The person misses and bodyslams Sandbag! The recoil force sends him right into the air! As Sandbag begins to fall, Game N\' Watch sees his chance for victory. He prepares to attack... He leaps off of his trampoline, strait at a defenseless Sandbag! Right when Game N\' Watch is about to hit Sandbag, tools start falling from the sky again! A hammer nearly misses Sandbag! It was so close to him, the air velocity from the hammer cause Sandbag to spin rapidly! His spinning causes him to smash his head against Game N\' Watch\'s head, causing massive damage! They both fall hard to the ground with a great BOOM! As objects fall from above, one of them gets up... Game N\' Watch dashes slowly and dizzly towards Sandbag while teetering back and forth, but is so dizzy he trips on Sandbag and falls over with stars above his head! A wrench falls and hits him on the head, knocking him out. The battle is over! Winner: SANDBAG! The undefeated champion! Sand-BAG! Sand-BAG! Sand-BAG! Flat characters from Flat Zone gather all around Sandbag and lift him up, cheering his name! That\'s it folks, just remember, you saw it here first!
