What is the best Nintendo console, and why? What makes a system greater than another?

SNES, because it had so many classics that we remember today, The NES did that as well, but not like how the SNES did.

Because, all of us can easily name Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, Super Mario RPG, and many other as great games and classics, and they all came on the SNES.

Hmm very hard decision if i could vote twice i would but i would say the snes and n64 come in a tie.

Hard to say, but I voted for the GameCube, because tons of my favorite games are for the GameCube. Plus I didn't have may games for the N64 or SNES.

Supposedly, it might actually be free, but I heard that was for games 15 years or older...Wait, I think it counts....Oh, well. I'm glad he agrees with me on the SNES.

The SNES is definetly the all-time best console ever. It may lack modern technology but it definetly surpasses all Nintendo consoles with it's popularity.

Yeah becasuse it had more games you enjoyed especially like smw tell me it wasn't fun see so yeah thats why the majority will go for snes.

I'm pretty sure the free games rumor was killed by Nintendo. At one point I thought Nintendo said that NES games would be free but that isn't the case anymore.

The reason I went with SNES instead of NES was Allstars. Being able to play those games on the SNES along with SMW 1+2 and SMRPG makes it the best console for Mario fans (unless you like SM64 more, I guess).
